The Lore token, $LORE, is the governance and performance capture mechanism through which Lore Finance operates. $LORE’s tokenomics are designed to foster long-term growth while supporting the expansive [Cod3x MRP program](https://www.cod3x.org/). Lending Markets and Staking Pool rewards will be issued as oLore. By utilizing an option token Lore is creating a sustainable financial model that fairly rewards participants on Scroll.
